Legal Information
The foundation was established on May 20, 2022. The legal form is a “foundation with full legal capacity”. The statutes are included in a notarial deed. The foundation is listed in the trade register of the Chamber of Commerce under number 86458361.
Introduction
The impetus for establishing the foundation came from a desire to enable the ministry of Samuel and Hope Visser. Both are speakers and writers with a special understanding of the church and its mission.
Foundation and Purpose.
As stated in the Articles of Incorporation: To assist individuals and organizations in fulfilling the Great Commission as Jesus articulates it in Matthew 28:18-20 and Mark 16:15-18, the core of which is to win people to Jesus Christ, build them up in their faith and send them out to win, build and send others themselves.
Methods
We do these things in the Netherlands, of course, but also in other countries. In fact, we always work with local partners.
Fundraising
The foundation receives income and donations. Part of this is in cash, another part by direct debit via authorization, or in other ways as indicated in the statutes. Any proceeds from sales of materials, trainings or speaking engagements will be used to cover expenses, pay people for work done, or invest in the development of new materials.
Management of assets
Neither the director nor the board members, have sole disposal of the assets.
All payments above €1000,- and/or that are recurring payments must be approved by one (other) board member.
The funds raised are spent for the purpose of the foundation.
Remuneration policy
For the time being, the foundation does not employ any staff. The board members receive no remuneration for their work as board. Travel expenses are reimbursed to board members who indicate they would like to be considered for this.
Expenses
The foundation incurs expenses for the production of materials, for translations, for travel expenses both nationally and internationally, for speakers’ fees, for organizing trainings and related costs.
